Jenny is a certified life and youth coach and was a secondary teacher for twelve years, when she found coaching young people the most enjoyable and rewarding part of her role. Jenny has co-written a PSHE course for which can be delivered to Yr 10 and up on self-awareness, self development and living ethically which also covers such diverse topics as stress reduction, self-confidence, resilience, empathy, communication and relationships, mindfulness, health and wellbeing, loving-kindness, gratitude, goal-setting, respect for the environment and keys to happier living. Workshops for Yr 7 to Yr 9 are also available. We can run one off workshops, or regular PSHE lessons (half a day minimum per week/fortnight which could cover several classes).

Jenny has plenty of experience dealing with the challenges facing young people today. Whether it’s finding a direction, target-setting, exploring career paths, stress, anxiety, sleeplessness, low self-esteem, unhappiness, relationships or other issues facing young people, Jenny can provide support and encouragement through one-to-one or group sessions, and help the young person to find a way to navigate through their issues at this potentially difficult time.

Please note that coaching is not a substitute for therapy and serious issues such as clinical depression or eating disorders should be treated by a recognised medical professional.
